memory upgrade problems on k8v se deluxe

Hello,

I am trying to install 2 memory modules DDR 1024MB PC400 ECC REG in my Asus k8v se deluxe MB with Athlon XP 3000+ CPU. The modules were bought together and have the following tags (do not know exactly the model name) : CORSAIR PC-3200, CM72SD1024RLP-3200/M 0521122-0 PC3200R-3330-Z1 .

If I install each of them alone they appear to work, although every now and then I get an "overclocking failed" error during boot followed by a suggestion to enter SETUP. When they are installed together, the system gives no sign of life. Blank screen. Setting a lower speed than 400Mhz (e.g. 200) does not help. The system has previously worked fine with 2 modules SALTEK DDR400 512MB at full speed.

Any ideas what may be wrong?

Thank You

I had no idea of that... on the MB user guide I read "You may install 64MB,... and 1GB unbuffered ECC and non-ECC DIMMs into the DIMM sockets using the memory configurations in this section."

Actually, the system seems to work fine with only 1 module installed...

???

Thank You

p.s. can you please tell me what is exactly the name of the modules I have purchased?
