First prebuilt pc troubles with fans :D

Recommended Posts

So since im kinda dumb on this i just turned on my first pc, prebuilt corsair, (VENGEANCE i7300 Gaming PC, i5-12600K, RTX 3070, 1TB M.2, 16GB DDR4-3200) and im not too sure if these fans turn on under load but the front three fans just arent turning on. The worst part about it that made me worry is the fact my ram is running 44c which im pretty sure is bad... thanks for the help and dumb it down for me 😄 the rgb works on the fans aswell if that helps...

It’s hard to know from our end where the fans are connected, especially on a pre-built model. There are multiple versions of these things. Some come with Corsair branded fan controllers (Commander Pro or Commander XT). Others will use the MB fan headers. In the CUE software, look for a Commander. If none, then likely connected to the MB and speed changes need to be made in the BIOS.

No, you’re fine and that is in the low end of the temperature scale for DDR4. 70-80C is where problems arise. However, obviously the front fans need to be functional.

You may also wish to contact Corsair Support. Prebuilt systems should be ready to turn on the moment you push the button.  I think we probably can help you resolve it, but Corsair should also be informed of how the machine was actually configured or if that config is confusing for users.

Wow that actually really helps luckily i got the fans to work i guess it was just some loose cables in shipping haha, so now im gonna set my alarm temps for my ram to 70 and 80 so that i genuinely appreciate... ive got more questions with this kind of stuff though but that will be another topic and i dont want to clog this on up sadly. But seriously thank you, you put a lot of my worries to rest with ram ❤️ (and in icue oddly enough the controller is my pc i guess haha not too sure on that one) thank you again!
