SgtLeoLP
So I want install some Corsair LL120 RGB Fans inside my case but i dont have any usb2.0 headers on my motherboard. Can I just use a usb3.0 to 2.0 adapter like this one https://www.caseking.de/inline-adapter-intern-usb-3.0-zu-intern-usb-2.0-15cm-zuus-159.html?sPartner=999&gclid=CjwKCAjwkMeUBhBuEiwA4hpqEGQ0Gv816qXSSeHtwLZPBgSL33ampLKTtbAoqXvGmUNcQ5nupAw7_RoCYGkQAvD_BwE Edited May 28 by SgtLeoLP

c-attack
Yes, a 3.0 -> 2.0 adapter should work. However, as mentioned above you might get more utility out of a powered USB 2.0 hub. Most MBs have 2 at most and AMD boards have some voltage side issues as well. The powered hub solves two issues for some users and is a relatively cheap option. Ultimately the final say may depend on your MB model and the Corsair RGB controller you are attempting to connect.
