BeardedYoda
Icue doesn't start devices on start up. My profile only kicks in when the app is opened and I can see everything load in. Everything in my tower seems to be working. Only seems to affect my keyboard, mouse, mousepad, and headset stand.
Corsair Employees Corsair LandLubber Posted May 25 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 25 Hi @BeardedYoda, it sounds like as if the iCue background service doesn't start properly. First make sure that iCue has been enabled in auto start. If this is already the case, make sure that the latest version (currentyl 4.24) is installed. If the issue persists, please perform a repair of iCue (click on Modify on Windows Programs & Features) as well as a complete re-install using the following guide: https://help.corsair.com/hc/en-us/articles/360025166712-Perform-a-clean-reinstallation-of-the-Corsair-Utility-Engine-iCUE-
BeardedYoda
Complete reinstall seems to have worked for detecting the devices. It still isn't starting the home profile on startup. It's running a rainbow profile on startup for some reason.
Corsair Employees Corsair Notepad Posted May 26 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 26 If you are referring to the iCUE software defaulting to another profile on iCUE startup have you made sure to set the profile you wish to be the default profile to the, default profile? If by startup you are referring to when you initially boot up the system and Windows and iCUE is yet to launch, you will need to setup the individual device's hardware lighting profiles as the default hardware profile is going to be Rainbow unless you specifically change them. Examples below utilizing my Dominator Platinum RGB memory.
