Oxnull Posted May 24, 2022 Posted May 24, 2022 iCUE version 4.24.193, I have an Intel 11700K and Core #7 is now missing after the update today. https://imgur.com/5wjGg7g
Oxnull Posted May 24, 2022 Author Posted May 24, 2022 or maybe #8 and #9 need to be renamed #7 and #8 since the CPU only has 8 cores, not sure what happened
Corsair Employee Corsair Notepad Posted May 24, 2022 Corsair Employee Posted May 24, 2022 Have you tried running a repair of the iCUE software? And are you running any other hardware monitoring software at the same time?
Oxnull Posted May 29, 2022 Author Posted May 29, 2022 No other monitoring software, tried the repair and restarted my PC, no changes
c-attack Posted May 29, 2022 Posted May 29, 2022 There is a core enumeration problem with the latest CPUID SDK that came with 4.24. It definitely affects Intel CPUs and most users are reporting a “skipped core” in the sequence. The cores are there but the numbering is incorrect. I have not seen any reports from AMD owners, but there may be a lateral issue. 1
