furyau
Hi Cosair, The Win Lock button is great however with the upgrade to windows 11, there are now two other shortcuts. ALT TAB SHIFT and ALT TAB CTRL which effectively do the same thing as ALT TAB. This has been really frustrating in WoW where I use ALT,. CTRL and SHIFT as modifiers for spell rows and certain macros along with TAB is the default for changing target. I have heard a few of the guys complaining and wanted to know if there is a way we can work around this or if into the future, you can add these other windows short cuts to the keyboard Performance Win Lock control section? Thanks, Ryan
Corsair Employees Corsair Notepad Posted May 16, 2022 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 16, 2022 The Win-lock feature on our keyboards is a hardware level solution to prevent unintended presses of the Windows key and only the Windows key. If you wish to prevent those combination of keys from working in such a way you will need to contact Windows support to see if they have a solution for you. Hey Notepad, Ahh look at the attached picture. The iCUE app and keyboards already do the following combinations: ALT+TAB ALT+F4 SHIFT+TAB WINDOWS KEY Not trying to be annoying but your software already does more than "just the windows key" and it would be fairly straight foward if you already have a coded solution for above combinations to add in two more. All we are looking for is a update to include ALT+TAB+SHIFT and ALT+TAB+CTRL as these are new shortcuts to Win11.
LeDoyen
Alt shift tab does the same as alt tab but scrolls in reverse, and alt ctrl tab keeps the window scrolling on screen even when releasing the keyboard. Basically these key presses should be added to what icue disables on the "Alt+Tab" switch. As it is, this switch is not working fully when using windows 11 since it disables only one out of 3 modes of "alt Tab" and there's no way to disable those new key combinations within windows that i could find.
