Additional ram for Vengeance i7200?

Hi I recently bought this pc from Best Buy https://www.bestbuy.com/site/corsair-vengeance-a7200-series-gaming-pc-amd-ryzen-7-5800x-cpu-nvidia-geforce-rtx-3070-graphics-16gb-rgb-pro-ddr4-memory/6486474.p?skuId=6486474 and no I did not pay that much, it for some reason went up over $300 last week which is odd with component prices are going down fast,

It came with 2 8gb sticks of ram for 16gb total. I use the pc mainly for vr in Microsoft flight simulator. I discovered with my last pc that vr in msfs is a ram hog and that it was much better with 32 gb of ram so I’d like to buy 2 more matching sticks of ram, but I have read the included ram has different timings than retail ram, and that it could not be bought and that I’d have to buy new ram if I want to upgrade and can’t keep what I have and just add two more identical sticks.

Is this true? Clearly they must have it available as they may occasionally have to replace bad ram under warranty, I’d be shocked if Corsair pulled that kind of crap just to make us buy completely new ram and discard what we already have that would be Dell level customer service, and I refuse to believe anyone else is that bad lol. 
 

tldr- is identical ram available for purchase?

The kits we install in those systems are not available through retail channels.  We recommend you keep the current sticks as a known working backup and purchase a kit with the desired specifications as we cannot guarantee any other kit will work in conjunction with the one that comes with your system.
