Chinkieboii
ordered the TWINX1024-3200C2PT (dual kit of CMX512-3200C2PT) a while ago and saved it until i could get the rest of the parts for my computer. both sticks are bad, but one is worse than the other. the better would run windows but with random restarts and in memtest had 15 errors after testing 8 hrs. the other stick sometimes got blue screens when loading windows, other times would startup windows but with a "windows has recovered from a fatal error" type thing. memtest sucked with it as well. i have a MSI K7N2 DELTA2-LSR mobo and an Athlon XP 3200. most all bios settings default, ran all different kinds of ram timings: 2-3-3-6, 2.5-3-3-6, 2.5-3-3-7, 3-3-3-8. the less damaged stick ran slightly more stable with slower timings, but the other was consistently bad. Wired
Did you test them in the same slot? Try another slot.

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted June 6, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted June 6, 2005 Please test the modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org and I would set the Dim Voltage to 2.7 Volts as well. If you do find one failing then lets get it or them replaced. Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However; if you get errors with both modules, that would suggest some other problem. And I would try testing the memory in another system to be sure.
