d.a.duffellwor Posted June 4, 2005 Share Posted June 4, 2005 I have a module of vs512mb 3200 that is failing memtest86+ in my wifes system 'it has had random reboot problems for several months now.I have taken it out and installed it in mine with the same results failed test #5. I then installed a module of xms3200 from my system it passes test in both systems.Both systems have the same mother board & cpu .I would like to have a RMA please. Motherboard:K8N Neo Platinum 7030 CPU:AMD 64 3000 Memory settings: Tcl:2.5 Trcd:3 Tras:8 Trp:3 (2T timing) Bios Ver:1.4 082604 20:56:50 DDR 400 Clock is 200 mhz Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted June 6, 2005 Corsair Employee Share Posted June 6, 2005 Please test the modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org and I would set the Dim Voltage to 2.7 Volts as well. If you do find one failing then lets get it or them replaced. Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However; if you get errors with both modules, that would suggest some other problem. And I would try testing the memory in another system to be sure.
