Musii
So I have these RGB RAMS from Corsair for like almost a year now and never had issues before. Recently I updated the app and the RGB part of my motherboard. Now everytime I restart my pc or when I put my pc on to sleep-mode it puts the RGB colours on default and my saved settings will only apply when I start the application.. I have done a clean re-install of the application, but did not help. Please help me with this problem!! Thank you in advance.
Corsair Employees Corsair Notepad Posted April 19, 2022 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 19, 2022 Make sure you aren't confusing the Lighting Effects option with the Hardware Lighting option for your memory. The Lighting Effects option is purely for when the iCUE software is open, and you must utilize the Hardware Lighting option for what you wish the RGB on the memory to be when iCUE is not running. I deleted the application and reinstalled it by downloading it from the website and now it works properly. Thank you for the fast repsonse though!! Sorry, apparently it's still not fixed. I found the problem. I got an MSI motherboard and MSI has a application called MSI Center where I fix my RGB lights of my fans. However, with the latest update of their firmware, the RGB of the Corsair RAMS are now included in this MSI Center application and I do not want that. Is there any way I can fix this in iCUE to only manage the RGB on the product via the iCUE application?
Corsair Employees Corsair Notepad Posted April 19, 2022 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 19, 2022 You are not going to be able to run other RGB controlling software such as MSI Center at the same time as iCUE as it will conflict and not allow iCUE to retain control over the RGB memory.
