Can't uninstall or install Icue

Recommended Posts

So I am having a problem with the Icue software. Whenever I try to install it, it says there is an older version on my pc. When I try to uninstall it it says: "Error applying transforms. Verify that the specified transform paths are valid."

It also won't say the name for some reason and I can't find Icue anywhere else.
I don't know how to solve this so I would really appreciate it if someone could help me.spacer.png

Try the steps to remove the iCUE software in the link below.

https://help.corsair.com/hc/en-us/articles/360025166712-Perform-a-clean-reinstallation-of-the-Corsair-Utility-Engine-iCUE-

If that doesn't work utilize the download link provided below, run the installer, select Modify, and then you should be able to remove the 3 year old iCUE install from there.

Hello, I'm sorry for the late reply, I didn't get a notification of your comment.
I tried to perform the clean install from the first link. After Icue started downloading I got an error saying that the older version of Icue can't be removed, and it canceled the installation.
When I executed the download from the second link in your comment I got the same error message as if I were to try to uninstall it.

Try the workaround mentioned in this Microsoft Support article:
