left ctrl key not working for shortcuts

Hello,

I bought a brand new Corsair K60 RGB PRO and i got an issue.
The left ctrl key is mecanicaly OK, i know that becouise it works on the windows lock screen and is detected into Icue as a left ctrl.
But when i try shortcuts witch it, i doesn't work, like ctrl + W in chrome, or ctrl alt suppr.

How to get this left ctrl work with shortcuts, like others keyboards ?

Hi Obi Yann,

Do you have iCUE installed? If so, are you sure you don't have any random macros applied to CTRL?

I don't have any, i checked this menu.

The left ctrl seem to be technically ok, it works on the windows lock screen.

If you *close* iCUE completely, do you still have these issues with the CTRL inputs in Chrome? Does it definitely have issues in every app, or just Chrome?

Its in every app, the left ctrl does'nt work for any shortcut combo in anay app.

I just test with exiting icue, its the same issue.

But the left ctrl still work on the windows lock screen, for displaying the password authentification.

Here is a passmark test, there really seems to be no hardware problem, i tried left ctrl +W and it show in passmark.

My problem is really like a configuration problem.

Let's try repairing iCUE.

Before repairing iCUE, delete the “Corsair composite virtual input device” driver.

Open Device Manager.
Select Human Interface Devices.
Right-click Corsair composite virtual input device and select Uninstall device.
Tick the Delete the driver software for this device checkbox, and then click Uninstall.

Rerun the installation file for iCUE and select Repair.


Follow the instructions for repairing iCUE.
Reboot your PC.
