kevinranders
Hi - its me, the noob again. Finished my build today, turned on the first (yay post) and am now installing windows. All of the fans connected to the core xt are spinning and lighting up fine. The H150i elite lcd, LCD screen is working and shows liquid temp (I assume by default). The fans connected to the CoCore that came with the cooler are all spinning but they not lighting up. Is this potentially because I haven't installed ICUE yet OR should they be lighting up to the default white/blue just like the other 6 fans? Just trying to troubleshoot while windows installs. Thanks so much in advance! THis forum has helped me sooo much.
kevinranders
Quick update. Installed ICUE and the AIO shows up, my DOM ram shows up the commander core xt does not (fans spin, are lit up) but isn't showing in icue.
c-attack
I suspect this going to be another Commander Core + LCD top + Commander XT = trouble issue. Most users seem to be limited to two of these. If you have 3 or more in any combination, some won’t be detected (3 Commander XTs -> only 2 show). You can try and give the XT its own personal usb 2 port on the motherboard, but that does not resolve the issue for most users. The only semi-successful work around has been to use a USB 2 -> USB 3 converter cable to let you take advantage of the higher throughput on usb 3. Otherwise you are better off dropping the XT and using a combination of Lighting Node Pro/Core for RGB control and a PWM repeater from the Commander Core to provide speed control for additional fans.
