My Corsair SP120 stay white and wont show on the icue hub

Recommended Posts

So recently i decided to switch cases from the standard 25L case from HP, before doing this my fans worked just fine in my mobo that was 10 years old! So naturally i thought it would be very easy to make the switch right? Well i was very wrong, I have no clue why but my rgb controller wont work and my fans are all white and wont get detected by the software! Now i know i have everything plugged in correctly and it still wont work! I've tried everything to get it to work but to no luck does anyone know how to fix this because id really like my pc to ya know use my RGB Fans

Which fans do you have? And what controller?

It sounds like you may be mixing the OG SP120 fans with any of the newer/other Corsair RGB fans. That doesn't work - the SP-RGB use a different control protocol from every other fan, including the (newer and current) SP-PRO and SP-ELITE fans.

How do you have them configured in iCUE then? If you have SP-Elite, they should be configured as 8-LED fans, not as SP-RGB fans, in iCUE.
