Will my Corsair DDR5 memory module function properly with my motherboard?

Recommended Posts

Hey Everyone,

Need some help understanding the compatibility of my new hardware. Will my Corsair DDR5 memory modules function properly with my motherboard. I've invested a good deal of money into this build and really do not want to break anything upon initial setup. Hardware specs to follow:

Processor: Intel Core i9-12900k

Motherboard: Z690 AORUS MASTER (rev. 1.x)

Memory: 6200 CORSAIR 16GB CMT32GX5M2X6200C36 ver5.43.13 timings 36-39-39-76 1.30v

GPU: Gigabyte GeForce RTX™ 3090 GAMING OC 24G

PSU: CORSAIR HX1200 Platinum

Storage: Kingston KC3000 1024GB, Samsung 980 Pro 250GB

OS: Windows 11

On Gigabyte's website it says the closest match to my memory module available is the following memory profile: 6000 CORSAIR 16GB 1Rx8 CMT32GX5M2X6000C36 ver 4.43 SS Samsung 36-36-36-76 1.35v. If I enable this memory profile in BIOS will my PC run, and if it does will I cause any damage to my memory modules / overall build?

Thanks in advance for your help!
