LGA 1700 Parts for iCUE H150i Elite Capellix

I did a lot of research for the build whos parts are sitting on my desk. Started putting everything together today to realize to Capellix H150i does not have the parts needed for LGA 1700 (i7-12700K on ASUS z690-Plus WIFI).

From what I had read they were supposed to include the parts needed by the end of 2021. Now I am reading all over the place that not only are they still not included, but both kits that have the necessary parts are are out of stock. Added bonus when you can find the kits it can take up to a month to get 4 little offsets/screws.

My build is Corsair Centric. Dominator DDR5 RAM. 5000X RGB Case. 10 LL120 RGB Fans. RM850x Power Supply. Commander Pro. Void RGB ELite Headset. K70 Keyboard. M65 RGB ULTRA WIRELESS Gaming Mouse.

Now I am dumbfounded that I have gotten stopped dead in my tracks by this upgrade kit. Part of me wants to box up all these Corsair items and return them to Amazon. I can understand how major components can take time to get, but something like these offsets/screws should be readily available.

Anyone have suggestions? Keep what I have or return and start over? Anyone know if these are available elsewhere? Could not find them on Amazon.

Im in the same boat as you. I purchased almost 1k$ in parts from Corsair to find the same problem. If I wasnt setting here with a complete PC minus the 4 standoffs I would have boxed it all up and sent it back to them. As for now Im just waiting. 4th day in processing. I can say that Ill never buy anything from Corsair again. This is beyond ridiculous.

I'm currently day 22 processing. I ended up going to best buy and buying a h100i which had the standoffs. I took them out to complete my build as I couldnt stand to wait any longer. I will put these in the box and return it once I receive them hopefully within the next 2 weeks.

I hear the 1200 standoffs work for a small temp increase. I'm prob going to grab a cheap cooler or use those while I wait.

I'm using the LGA1200 standoffs. The "stack height" of the two sockets differ stack height, but the ranges overlap slightly. The risk is that the clamping force might be too low with an LGA1700 board.

So far, my cooling performance is fine. Maybe my Asus Prime Z690-A's stack height isn't at the low end of the spec.

I ordered the standoffs any way, on 16 March. I called Corsair a couple of days ago. I was told they are in stock, and being shipped as quickly as they are received from manufacturing. (Bull$#!t.) I translate it as backordered, but with new parts coming in. The rep said that the standoffs are their most ordered item at the moment.

FYI - I am using the LGA1200 standoffs for my i9-12900k on a ASUS ROG Strix Z690-A and I have not run into any cooling issues, sub 30s when doing class work and sub 40 when gaming. **Ordered my standoffs on 14 March**

Case - Corsair x5000

AIO - Corsair H150i

To respond to myself, Corsair just charged me for the kit, and my order status has changed from "processing" to "booked". That may not imply that it will ship soon, but at least it's motion.

Later: "shipping soon". They may be just leading me on. 😉

My standoffs from Corsair directly ($5) are currently "Reserved", and the set I ordered from Israel off of Ebay (I'm in Atlanta, Ga.) for $20 + $22 shipping are currently in-route. Expected on the 4th of April. Maybe they'll both get here around the same time.

A shipping label was generated on 3/29. I believe that means the order has been packed, at least. As of 3/30, it hasn't found its way to USPS yet.

Mine shipped this morning, and I'd noticed that most of the updates occur overnight. I found this odd, given Corsair US customer service hours, American tech culture, and locations (LA and Atl).

Yeah, it's shipping from Kwun Tong District in Hong Kong.

It could be worse, I guess. At least the kit I ordered on Ebay from Israel shipped from the Netherlands yesterday afternoon, so it "should" update somewhere stateside today and be delivered by Monday at the latest (fingers crossed).

On 1 April, finally in USPS hands. Due here on 4/5. Not quite 3 weeks after I submitted the order. Could be worse. Fortunately, I was able to complete the build without the correct standoffs.

Standoffs arrived today. (Ordered 3/16.) About 1mm shorter than the LGA1200 ones.

Installed them. CPU temperatures unchanged. Oh, well. $5.99 plus tax.
