exile03
Hi, I'm planning on upgrading to the MSI K8N Neo4-Platinum SLI motherboard and was wondering if I would be able to use my current RAM [CMX512-4000PRO] with the new motherboard. I have searched all over the MSI website and was unable to find any information. I bought these modules individually and I currently run them in dual-channel mode. I plan on doing the same with the new motherboard. Any help would appreciated. Thanks.
Yellowbeard
There should be no problems running that RAM in dual channel on that MOBO. However, the speed of the RAM will be determined by the OCing capability of your CPU and MOBO. Good luck with the new rig and post up again if you have any issues. Mike. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted June 2, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted June 2, 2005 Our TwinX1024-4000 or CMX512-4000 should work and should be fully compatible with your MSI K8N Neo4 SLI or NON SLI Platinum/Diamond.
