Henry R
Whenever I open iCue, the MSI After burner stats always shows on iCue. It does not matter what i have open- Home, Dashboard, Instant Lighting, Settings, or Community. The Afterburner stats is always in the iCue windows. How can stop the Afterburner from appearing? It never did this before.
Corsair Employees Corsair Notepad Posted March 18, 2022 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 18, 2022 That is because the iCUE software is a hardware accelerated program. If you do not wish to have your MSI Afterburner OSD overlayed on top of the iCUE software you will need to configure the MSI Afterburner OSD to not display over the iCUE software. If you require assistance with how to exclude specific applications, you will need to reach out to MSI support directly.
c-attack
Open Riva Tuner from the system tray (Afterburner must be active). It is responsible for the OSD. Create a new profile (add) and link it to the CUE exe. Then set application detection level to "None". Edited March 18, 2022 by c-attack
Duffy705
Open MSI afterburner. While it's running, open RTSS. Then hold shift and clock ADD at the bottom. Select iCue and all other apps you wish to EXCLUDE from having this run. You will need to get entirely quit iCue and relaunch it to verify it's hidden. Henry R
Okay thanks all. C-attack, when I opened Riva Tuner and clicked on add, I did not immediately see any file labeled iCue.exe How do I create it, or is it located in a different folder? Should I go over to MSI forum for help as Corsair said?
Henry R
Oh, never mind. Duffy705 chimed in right when I posted. I got it now. Thanks Duffy. Edited March 18, 2022 by Henry R
