tm1921
Hey Guys! I recently put together my first build and utilized the Obsidian 1000D case along with a single X570 Aorus Master motherboard. The 1000D case has 2 USB 3.1 Type-C connectors and 2 USBs Type 3.0 connectors, while the X570 has only 2 USBs Type 3.0 connectors and 1 USB 3.1 Type-C connector. However, the X570 also has 2 USB 2.0 connectors, of which I'm currently only using one. I'm wondering, since I have a dead port up front and only 1 2.0 connector being utilized, is there inherently any issue with using a 2.0->3.0 adapter, and then attaching a 3.0->3.1 adapter on top? I'm trying to understand if there's inherently something incorrect, dangerous, or ineffective with how I am thinking about this before I go ahead and actually do so. Types of adapters I'd use: 2.0->3.0https://www.amazon.com/Duttek-2-pack-Motherboard-Adapter-Converter/dp/B072ZV1566/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=usb+2.0+to+3.0+adapter&qid=1647466552&sr=8-3 3.0->3.1https://www.amazon.com/USB-Front-Panel-Adapter-Type-Header/dp/B08GYFCNK9?th=
