Carbon_xX
Please Help! I have been having issues with launching Macros with my new K95 RGB Platinum XT. I am able to assign the macros from the iCue software, however, the macros does not deploy on pressing the G keys( or the assigned key). Have tried to use the dedicated G keys and also other keys as well. I am on iCue version v.21.4.173 and the keyboard is currently on firmware v.4.22.30. Note: Keyboard updated the firmware on first connection I am trying to set up an autoclicker to AFK in minecraft. Corsair Employees Corsair Blade Posted March 16, 2022 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 16, 2022 iCUE will not support an infinitely repeating Macro, so ultimately you won't be able to achieve what you want here I don't think 😞 I can try and help with the G-Keys not working at all though. Can you send us a screenshot of your macro setting in iCUE? Thanks.
Carbon_xX
Hello There. Thanks for the reply! I don't think there is a problem with the keys, as the key presses are being detected. It's just that if I assign a macro to a key, it will not perform the action. I'm including the screenshots as requested. The first two are the clicker I tried to set up, the next ones were simply to test out if assigning the macros work at all. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1KQqbfoOLLw3pF5d4aFCuRFqjAH9DxKPN?usp=sharing Please find the shared folder with the screenshots on the above link. Corsair Employees Corsair Blade Posted March 16, 2022 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 16, 2022 Does the "Clicker" one work if you *hold down* that G1 key? and don't let go, ever?
Carbon_xX
Unfortunately, it does not work. The other macros won't work as well. I have also tried out other assignment options that are available on the "key assignments" tab. The text assignment worked fine for me. (Have not tried launching an app or media). The profile switching assignment did not work as well. Seems like the issue is with the software itself?
Corsair Employees Corsair Blade Posted March 17, 2022 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 17, 2022 We recommend performing a clean install of iCUE. Please follow the steps below: Open your computer's Control Panel. Open the Programs and Features options. Select Corsair Utility Engine in the list, and then select Uninstall. Press Window Key + R to open the Run command. Type %appdata% and press Enter. Delete any Corsair folders in the window that pops up. Return to the Run window and type %localappdata%. Delete any Corsair folders in the window that pops up. Open File Explorer and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\ for iCUE 3, or C:\Program Files\ for iCUE 4. Delete any Corsair folders in that folder. Type Regedit in the Run window and then click OK. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ and delete the Corsair folder. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ and delete the Corsair folder. Restart your computer. Download a new installer file for iCUE from Corsair.com and reinstall. If you need assistance with these steps, please reach out to our support team.
Carbon_xX
@Corsair Blade Hello again, I have performed a clean install of the software as guided, cleared the cache, appdata and also cleaned the registry and reinstalled the software after a fresh download. However the issue is still not resolved and I am still unable to use macros and remap keys. Rest of the functions seems to be working. Are there any other workarounds I can try?
