RyanGZ
Cable I bought I seemed to buy this to try and fix my issue since someone else on the forum bought it and it fixed their issue, but it seemed to not work. I dont know if im doing it right cuz theres two 5 pins and the xt uses a 9 pin connector. However, someone told me 5 pins is enough for it to work.... LeDoyen
make sure you orient it the right way : ground to ground. I don't have a Core XT to check but usually the 9 pin connector has a hole blanked. that's the ground side. put the black wire side of the adapter towards that hole, on the row that has the 5 holes open. if it doesn't work, then : https://www.amazon.com/CRJ-9-Pin-Dupont-Header-Single/dp/B07Q4QZW57/ref=sr_1_5?crid=2A9OWVQT95C3A

I will get that but I may just be wasting time again. There has to be something else wrong with these shitty commander pros. Every one i get keeps breaking in some way. LeDoyen
commander pro or commander core XT? Now i have never seen a motherboard not come with internal USB headers, so i also wonder why you need the adapter cable, unless you use them externally for some custom project. If it's a problem of not having a free header, there are internal powered USB hubs you can use to connect multiple devices to one single header. Maybe if you detail the build we'd be able to help
