I purchased 2 sticks of Corsair ValueSelect vs512mb400c3 184pin ddr dimms from newegg.com.


I had problems with random errors and reboots, so I tested these with Memtest v1.55. Both sticks show errors. I tested;

- each stick seperately

- each stick in a different slot

- each stick on a different machine.


I am still getting errors and would like to RMA them.


System specs;

System Model A7N8X-E

BIOS Version/Date Phoenix Technologies, LTD ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe ACPI BIOS Rev 1013, 11/12/2004

Processor x86 Family 6 Model 10 Stepping 0 AuthenticAMD ~2205 Mhz (AMD athlon 3200)


BIOS cpu and ram timings set to auto

Voltage set to auto


I have since replaced these sticks with other RAM and the sytem is working flawlessly.


I would like to RMA these two defective sticks.

Please follow the directions under "I think I have a bad module" under this forum or if you have trouble, please send us a email with a copy of the form or all of your info name address and phone# and the Module part# and copy the link to this post and email it to Rma@corsairmemory.com.

If after 1 day or 24 hours excluding weekends you do not get the RMA please email the same to warranty@corsairmemory.com and we will help to resolve it.
