Daragh
I am about to pull the trigger on an A7200 but have heard that it will not accept additional RAM as the current RAM is a special part only available on prebuilds. I have two Corsair Vengeance PRO 8GB RAM 3200 sticks from another prebuilt - will these work OK? - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D1XCKWW?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details. I'm OK if the RGB effects etc do not work. This could be a deal breaker for me as everything else about the spec is perfect and I'm right at the top of my budget. How much would a full replacement of the memory to 32GB be? Any insight appreciated
Corsair Employees Corsair Mordred Posted March 8 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 8 Hi @Daragh Standard RAM compatibility advice applies. Check that the motherboard chipset is supported by the kit (manufacturer tech spec page); and don't mix memory kits. AMD 500 series would be the tag to look for on our website, and the CMW16GX4M2C3200C16 SKU linked in the Amazon page does match that spec.
