Finally! The MSI service isn't installed when neither of my builds house a MSI motherboard (next should be to not install the audio service when I don't have a Corsair headset). Can confirm that the "(1)" suffix has gone from my Nightsword mouse on my second rig (I only have one connected but it was a replacement of the original).

Any chance of a Copy Headset EQ profile to a User's library, so if there is a good EQ created, it can be reused profile to profile?

Currently I have to take a screenshot and try to recreate it ...

Also (and apologies if this is in iCue already), how about a "set all rgb to" feature ... eg, to set the same fx and colours to every device globally. Noted that different devices may have different capabilities... surely Corsair can do this automagically? 😀

The update is not showing up on icue, I will have to download it manually

I just noticed the install is now over 800MB in size, I know two people in immediate friends and family who would have trouble with that download (three cheers for spotty Australian internet). Maybe it's time to start looking at creating two separate downloads - a complete download for people on fibre, and a stub download for people on lousy internet connections. That way they can download something that's a few MB and once it's run it downloads *only* the bits that are required. 800MB for someone who just needs a mouse driver is over the top.

As for the update itself, still showing incorrect fan speeds (65,280rpm) and temperatures (216 degrees C) on Asus Crosshair VIII DarkHero.

Still can't resize the application window under the arbitrary size constraints set by Corsair.

Other than that it appears to be working about the same.

Oh, and I agree with @BlaiseP nice to see that it no longer installs MSI drivers on an Asus Mobo. Now just to remove the Corsair headset drivers when they're not needed in the install...

Ok, thanks for the update, all seems to be working as intended again. 😸

What I would like to see in a future update is the option of pump speed for AIOs to change depending on workload or temperature like fans do.

You can do this with “Scenes” from the main CUE window. This is the CUE 4 version of Instant Lighting with more customization. It is a master override of all lighting effect settings and persists across profile changes.  Devices can also be toggled in or out of the group. There are some ready made effects in the bar and you can edit them, remove, or add more.

Thanks c-attack ... I will try this out soon.

Getting to the macOS version is always tedious as the main page presents Windows and must not do any user agent checking to determine Mac users.

Getting messages that the installation fails, same as last version.  Even reinstalling after approving all the security and extension access prompts shows failure.  App launches and functions, albeit using >500Mb of RAM.  Only time will tell if this version still crashes, scenes stop working, mouse DPI resets, and app shows Not Responding, multiple times a day.

macOS 12.3 RC

Had to upgrade through the website, 4.20.169 does not see 4.21.173 update in app. Also was surprised to see I can control the fans for my 3090FE once again in this update!

Thanks @kevjtro for bringing this to our attention.  I've reached out to our development team and the update should work now as intended.  Let us know if you run into any issues.

3080 Ti FE is still not recognized in iCue as anything more than a "ASUS GPU : VGA 1". Cannot change icon, cannot change name, cannot edit RGB lighting or fan curve. Any plans to add this? Also I have a MetallicGear Neo Qube with the LED strip on the front that's seen and controlled by Armoury Crate. iCue does not allow me to change that. Any way to do that?

Installed the update, now my RAM (Vengeance RGB Pro) seems to be 'stuck'. If I change scenes, everything changes except for the RAM.

The only thing that appears to be working on the RAM is the Hardware Lighting (I'm able to change presets), but as soon as I click on the Home tab in the iCue app, it goes back to being 'stuck' (doesn't follow the scene I have set).

I forced a firmware update and that corrected the issue.

hi everyone, just a small feedback

since last release I spotted a small issue with the default behavior of my Virtuoso XT... upon start or resume from sleep, the mic LED stays off but I diasabled the option to shut it off when the mic is enabled...

I have to either manually push a disable-enable cycle on the hardware button on the mic or cycle the corresponding option in iCue...

not a big problem, but still... it was OK on the previous iCue version...

Latest update completely messed up my Corsair Virtuoso Headset. Doesn't connect to Discord, I have to switch my default to Computer Speakers then back to Headset. Green light on Mic doesn't light up when switching to wireless. I have to mute the mic (red) then unmute and it turns to Green. NEVER had to do this before until this last update. You sent me email saying it's a Discord issue and run it in Admin mode. 1. shouldn't have to do that 2. did it and it still doesn't work. Extremely frustrated.

Update still don't fix the problems with fan speeding up and K100 lighting quit working, and now this version when the lighting stops, and you go to close it from the taskbar and it auto-crashes.

Bug: K100's control wheel doesn't light when iCUE start. I have turn the lightness to max, and then close the iCUE, then restart iCUE,the control wheel doesn't light as expected. To let it light, I had to turn the wheel again.

I updated just to stay current and and read the updates prior with an update for duplicate devices no longer having numbers in them, so it wasn't unexpected... "(1), (2)" etc. But I have 3 different LS100 devices and 2 Lighting Node Pros. I used to use the numbers to identify them and now I can't do that. I knew which one each was. I do a lot of editing to profiles so I need a way to easily identify them. I'm surprised this was identified as a desired change. Ideally we could have some control over the naming of the devices. Or just revert back to the numbering if not that. Can this be implemented in future updates?

I don't know why that was dropped. It was super-useful in iCUE 3 to be able to name the devices whatever you wanted. You can dig around in the XML files and rename them ... but 1) you really shouldn't have to and 2) you can mess things up. <sigh>
