cityskate
I have a Corsair XMS module, the part number is CMX256A-3200PT. It is part of a matched pair of Dual Channel DDR400 that I purchased from Monarch Computer in October of 2004. This stick just failed and is causing my computer to not post. If I take it out and use the other module, the computer will post, and I am able to log in and work in Windows. I don't get any memory beeps with the bad module installed, the motherboard just will not post.

cityskate
Thanks. Do I need to send both modules back, since it was in a kit, or do I just send the defective unit back? Thanks.
Jabberwok
Yup. You have to send in both parts. Detailed instructions are provided when you're ready to send them too so everything should go smoothly ;):
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted June 1, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted June 1, 2005 And you should submit the RMA request for 1 Twinx512-xxxxxx set not 2 single modules or that is what you would get back.
