Katar Pro firmware update DPİ problem (v.1.4.25)

Recommended Posts

Hi, I'm using the Katar Pro wired gaming mouse. After the last firmware update (v.1.4.25) my mouse is becoming self-sensitive. I use it at 800 DPI, but self-sensitivity is increasing. For example, when using 800 DPI, it feels like 1000 DPI.In the same way, I feel like 600 DPI when using 400 DPI. But the DPI does not change in the software. My mouse is accelerating by itself. I would like to return to my old firmware update, please help Dear Corsair.. I'm sorry about my bad English.

Hello burkzxY,

We first recommend performing a clean install of iCUE. Please follow the steps below:

Open your computer's Control Panel.
Open the Programs and Features options.
Select Corsair Utility Engine in the list, and then select Uninstall.
Press Window Key + R to open the Run command.
Type %appdata% and press Enter.
Delete any Corsair folders in the window that pops up.
Return to the Run window and type %localappdata%.
Delete any Corsair folders in the window that pops up.
Open File Explorer and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\ for iCUE 3, or C:\Program Files\ for iCUE 4.
Delete any Corsair folders in that folder.
Type Regedit in the Run window and then click OK.
Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ and delete the Corsair folder.
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ and delete the Corsair folder.
Restart your computer.
Download a new installer file for iCUE from Corsair.com and reinstall.

If you need assistance with these steps, please reach out to our support team.

Merhaba burkzxY,

Öncelikle temiz bir iCUE yüklemesi gerçekleştirmenizi öneririz. Lütfen aşağıdaki adımları izleyin:

Bilgisayarınızın Denetim Masasını açın.
Programlar ve Özellikler seçeneklerini açın.
Listeden Corsair Utility Engine'i ve ardından Kaldır'ı seçin.
gidin. Bu klasördeki tüm Corsair klasörlerini silin.
Çalıştır penceresine Regedit yazın ve ardından Tamam'a tıklayın.

I've applied what you said many times. Jul: I got a clean boot. But my problem is still not solved. My mouse is still moving above the DPI I set.

Can you show us what you mean when you say the DPI is 'above what you have it set' ? I want to get a little bit more context before we send this along to the Tech Support Team.

Everything happened after you installed the firmware update 1.4.25. I'm using a Qatar Pro wired mouse. I use my mouse at 800 DPI in games. But my mouse gets sensitive by itself. The DPI does not change. But I feel it rising. For example, I feel like 1000 when the DPI is 800. But the DPI in the ICUE software still shows 800. I turned off the software and tried the same thing happened again. When I reset the mouse, it gets better for 1-2 minutes. And then the same thing happens again. I want to update the old firmware.
Model : Corsair Qatar Pro CH-930C011-EU ULTRA-LIGHT OPTICS
