Win11 & K95P Volume Not Working

Recommended Posts

I JUST upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11 and, so far, I've been pleasantly surprised at how painless it's been. However, I finally went to change my volume and found an odd situation. The volume wheel on the K95 Platinum will trigger Windows 11 to pop up a small volume "window" in the upper left corner of the screen and shows it moving up and down via a small white square with blue filling in under it and a number at the bottom representing the volume, but the volume itself remains unchanged. To change it I have to go into each app and use the mouse to move its volume up and down (if it has such controls). This all worked just fine in Windows 10.

What happened and what can I do to resolve it?

Try a repair install of CUE from the Settings -> Apps -> Corsair iCUE and select modify. This usually cleans up weird issues like that from the OS transition.
