RFAurora
SO I have a new PC from Origin, a custom Millenium. I've had it for a little over 2 weeks now, and I have some nagging questions about it. For the first question, I ordered mine with an Nvidia RTX 3070, and I was wondering if there was a way to control or disable the RGB on the GPU without invalidating the warranty. As it is, with the iCue software, the GPU RGB is uncontrollable, and I don't like the color cycle since it doesn't match the color selection I'm using in the rest of the computer. The second question is about the fan layout in the case. I went with the Corsair 5000X case and the Origin Maximum Fan kit, and was wondering if the fans were set up right to maximize cooling. The H100i Elite Capellix AIO is in the top of the case with those fans and the three fans on the right side panel set as intake, and the front and rear fans as exhaust. c-attack
For the GPU RGB, make sure you go to CUE settings and "enable plugins". You may need to restart the app and service after that (there is a button below). Most of us are not privy to the layout and options available through the builder programs. Also, sometimes the products are tweaked in certain ways for that specific build and are not the same as what a consumer will buy off the shelf. The side in, top(?)/rear/front exhaust set up is not how I would do it. However, I am not sure how moving things around affects any warranty options you have.
