Do I need to update VBIOS for my A200?

Recommended Posts

My A200 has 5950X CPU and 3080 Ti GPU. On Corsair driver down load page, it has ASUS 3080 VBIOS and Palit 3080 VBIOS. I am wondering if I need to update the 3080 Ti VBIOS.

Hi @vett93

We'd recommend that you run the latest BIOS whenever you spot a newer version.

You should be able to find the latest one on the specific store page for the model you have purchased.

Hi, are BIOS and VBIOS the same thing? In the page for my model (A200), it shows both BIOS and VBIOS.

Hi @vett93

The BIOS is for the motherboard; and the VBIOS is for the Graphics Card.

My A200 has 3080 Ti GPU. But the list shows 3080. Why is that?

How do I know if I have an ASUS GPU card or Palit?

Hi Vett,

There's no easy way to check without using certain third party tools such as https://www.ccleaner.com/speccy

The absolute easiest way is a visual inspection of the card.

We have a number of different A200 models - could you provide the SKU printed on the base of the unit (CS-90xxxxx)

The appropriate drivers should be on that specific page, rather than that of a 3080 A200.

In the event that the wrong VBIOS is on the page, I can look into getting it corrected.
