David Abecasis
Hi! I recently got a Virtuoso SE espresso headset. With iCue ON the gaming sound is terrible. Its full of distortion and crackling. I play Warzone and even in the menus I can hear crackling. When I activate Windows Space Sound it stops but the sound is really bad, its like a 50 dollar headset sound. And if I turn of iCue, the sound improves with no distortion but I can't use all de software stuff. The sound in general is so bad that I think I must have some software issue. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software. I have Windows 10, USB 3.2 tipe A ports, and a good setup. I don't know what to do, if this doesn't improves I would have to give them back to the store. Can someone help me?!?!
Corsair Employees Corsair Blade Posted February 11 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 11 Hi David, Please go to CONTROL PANEL / HARDWARE AND SOUND / POWER OPTIONS and then click on CHANGE PLAN SETTINGS (for your current default power plan). After that click on CHANGE ADVANCED POWER SETTINGS. When new window opens, scroll down the list a bit until you hit USB SETTINGS. Click little square with plus in it, and then click another little square with plus next to USB SELECTIVE SUSPEND SETTING. Check the state of it, and make sure it's set to DISABLED. See if that makes any difference. Hope this helps.
David Abecasis
Hi Corsair Blade, I tried that. Nothing changed. I found that setting all the EQ items on negative values, the in-game sound improves a little. At least, less distortion and crackling. But im sure that it isnt normal. Is there other solution i can try? Otherwise i would have to return the headset.

David Abecasis
Hi Corsair Elito, I tried but nothing changed. Sadly ill have to return the headset back to the store. They sounds really bad in-game. I think maybe its a software problem. But I tried everything I found in this forum with no solution. The sound has a lot of distortion in-game, lot of crackling, when something explodes or something like that, the headset put that event in "fist plane" and all the the stuff disappears. Its difficult to explain, but the sound is terrible.
