Corsair HS70 Wireless Headphones - Designed to fail and be thrown away

Recommended Posts

I bought the HS70 Wireless Headphones in 2019. From the start, battery life was about 50% of the advertised life.

The battery has now completely failed - it won't charge at all.

I have opened the headset and discovered that the battery is DESIGNED NOT TO BE REPLACED (unless you are a professional electronics person).

All wires (from the battery, and others) are individually soldered to a small circuit board.

Imagine designing, and then selling, a battery-based product which is to be thrown away as soon as the battery stops working.

Corsair should be ashamed of themselves.

This will be the last Corsair product I will ever buy.

Hey JamHam, sorry you are experiencing this issue. Please reach out to support if you can. Did you use your headset with iCUE and what was iCUE showing you with the headset?
