Oshawan
I'm a Corsair newbie and all I'm trying to figure out is how to have the same lighting effect on both my K55 keyboard and my ST100 RGB headphone stand simultaneously. I don't see anywhere to do this in the iCUE software. Any help is appreciated.
Corsair Employee Corsair Nick Posted February 1, 2022 Corsair Employee Share Posted February 1, 2022 Hi Oshawan, welcome to the community. Can you provide the model number off the back of the K55 you own? Should start with a "CH-" followed by a 7 digit number.
Oshawan
Sorry for the delay. The number is CH-9206015
Oshawan
I also have the CH-9226765 keyboard, but it's not hooked up right now — would it work any better for syncing with the headphone stand? Thanks for any advice.
Corsair Employee Corsair Nick Posted February 1, 2022 Corsair Employee Share Posted February 1, 2022 Both of those have similar lighting functionality with lighting zones rather than per-key lighting. The K55 RGB (CH-9206015) has 3 zones, while the K55 RGB PRO (CH-9226765) has 5. Both keyboards are only able to have independent lighting zone set for the keyboard itself, and will not link with other devices. Hopefully this clears up the lighting functionality. c-attack
You can set the same pattern to both devices in CUE, but because the LED zones are so drastically different, it's never going to be exactly the same anyway. Depending on the effect, you may be able to find a better balance by adjusting the speed of one preset on the KB/ST to make it seem more in tune with the other. Aside from that you may need to say which effect you are trying to use for both devices. Edited February 1, 2022 by c-attack
Oshawan
Thanks for the tips — I guess I can't sync them after all. Anyway, good to know.
