HS80 issue

Hey

so I just wanted to see if anyone else is having the same issue as me with the ear cups. The fabric around the foam is coming off like the glue or adhesive is no longer holding it in place it is slowly peeling off. I message support a while ago as this is my second pair of ear cups that (Corsair replaced my first pair) as i had the same issue with them ones. I was just wondering if anyone else has the same issue and if there are any different types of earcups I can get instead

Hey Qolambo, I'm also very sorry you are experiencing this. You are correct that the HS80 earcups are not removeable. Please also go ahead and send in a ticket to support so we can help you further.

I have the exact same issue, the headset has really low usage as i have it only for a couple of months.

this is ridiculous tbh, i have no earrings or anything that could have pulled on the fabric, it's just peeling off by itself.

it's completely unacceptable for a 149€ product in my pov, heck i have older headsets that are still fine and good as new, Arctis 7, even the Corsair HS70 wireless are as new, my retailer is of no use to help honestly.

I'm having the same issue as the rest of these people on this forum. I've had these headphones for the last 4 months, and just now the cloth has partly fallen off of one of the ear pads (image included) Bought in December of 202123902A9D-D98F-4B58-A509-01EF2A0F6D52.jpg

I am also having the same issue after 3 months. This is absolutely ridiculous for $150 pair of headphones to have what looks like hotglue used anywhere during construction. I've already called the customer support (on hold for 30 mins, then had to leave a voice mail) and started a support ticket. Seeing as this is a design flaw, and not a one off, an RMA is out of the question, a full refund is the only appropriate resolution.

Yes. After 4 month me left ear cup started to come apart and then 2 weeks later the right started. 
 

i contacted them and they are sending me a replacement. It seems to be stuck in customs for a couple of days. It’s a little over a week now and it’s been in the same location for 3 days.

SAME HERE..... man what is going on with Corsair??? I have mine like 4 months now, i bought the Mouse (sidebutton isnt working after couple of months), the Mousepad and The headset which made a strange noise also after a time, spend almost 300€ just to see it falling appart after couple of months. Definetly my last Corsair Products. 

I got in touch with Corsair support to get an replacement. 

 

Man man man.. i want corsair to be a good prodct, friends told me not to buy corsair but i said "nah man it looks cool, it works fine and im super happy with them..". Well, now its a little embarassing.

Me and my gf come from logitech and want to try the hs80 headset and the K-60 keyboard, 2 of both. One of the keyboards start missclicking from the first day, now some keys dont work. And both headsets has the earpads falling problem. I cant understand how can be this posible in this product line and price.

Corsair never again. ¬¬
