brian6p
I have ran memtest86 on my pair of VS1GB533D2 (13 passes with 816,000 errors). I did this after the machine would fail installing the operating system from three different CDs of Windows 2003 and one of Windows XP. I had swapped the drive out with two other drives and still had no success. Due to my need to have the machine running I purchased someone else's RAM in place of this and everything worked. Please let me know if I can submit an RMA request. Thanks... Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 27, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 27, 2005 Please test the modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org and I would set the Dim Voltage to 1.9 Volts as well. If you do find one failing then lets get it or them replaced. Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However; if you get errors with both modules, that would suggest some other problem. And I would try testing the memory in another system to be sure.
