Corsair k100 keyboard control wheel and side button color

Hi there,

I am trying to set my control wheel and the two side buttons next to the control wheel on the k100 keyboard to have a rainbow wave effect like the rest of the keyboard. I like to run a hardware lighting based profile so I can close iCUE and not have it running in the background. Is there a way to do this? I have tried creating a quick lighting zone to incorporate the control wheel and the two side buttons but this has not worked and have tried setting an additional lighting layer with the control wheel and the two side buttons but this did not work either. 

Any help would be appreciated. 

Edit: I somehow managed to get the control wheel set to the rainbow wave profile for hardware lighting and I am unsure how I did this.. But the side buttons are still white.
