azrael2000
Hi there. I just purchased a 1 Gig Corsair Flash Voyager memory stick, and after reading the installation guide and attaching to a USB port, everything seemed to go well... until I tried to copy some files. Now I am told that the disk is write protected; it doesn't see the name a corsair, and I can't format it. I've tried it on different systems to no avail. How do I unwrite protect it... or has it died on me within minutes... Regards

Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! Hi there RAM GUY. Thanks for the quick reply. I will consider sending the unit in. However, I do have to perform a wipe of the contents before I return it to the place I purchased it. Is there a way to do it. Regards
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 26, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 26, 2005 If it will not let you write to it, I am sorry but there is no way. You might try it in another system. Or you can RMA it directly back to us if you like. It will be erased when it is disassembled here.
