HS75 XB Will not power off after loss of signal Pc Xbox Wireless adapter

I was gaming on Pc and I'm using the Xbox Wireless adapter, sounds was fine I had to go to basement and I lost my sound out of range I guess, so I came back up stairs  I have a white light on both headset and adapter,

So I tried powering head set off it wont turn off no matter how long I hold the power button, so then I tried restarting computer the adapter turned off but the headset stay on, also now when I plug in the headset to Pc it no longer show in my iCUE software but it did before this happened.

Any ideas ? is the headset bricked from walking out of range ?
