Jim789
In Feb. 2001 I purchased: PC133 32X64 256MB SDRAM CORSAIR VALUE SELECT BRAND MEMORY PART # VS256MB133. It's been working fine for four years. That computer (a PIII) is now my backup machine. It suddenly won't boot - it powers up for about two seconds then immediately powers off. If I take the memory out, the power will stay on but it doesn't boot (there's no memory, I don't have any spare to throw in and test). I haven't made any changes to the computer in over a year. Because the computer will immediately shut down when the RAM is installed I'm guessing that must be the problem. Thanks.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 25, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 25, 2005 Well maybe, but I would suggest testing the module in another system if you can to be sure. Maybe a friend can help you. Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it!
