The Only Wolfboy Posted January 18, 2022 Posted January 18, 2022 For A few days now I've been having trouble whith the behaviour of the scrollwheel on my scimitar RGB Elite. It makes moves opposite of the direction that I scroll in, it gets really annoying because I use it as my daily driver for my job as a designer where I need to zoom in and out on a regular basis, for instance while zooming in, it gets al jittery and somtimes zooms out instead of in. Is there something I can do to fix this problem without opening the mouse or sending it back?
Corsair Employee Corsair Blade Posted January 18, 2022 Corsair Employee Posted January 18, 2022 Hello The Only Wolfboy, We would first suggest you try a soft-reset of the mouse. This will clear the mouse’s internal memory, which often corrects issues such as the one you are experiencing. Please follow the directions below: 1: Unplug the mouse. 2: Hold the left and right mouse click. 3: While holding the left and right mouse, plug in the mouse. 4: Hold the left and right mouse down for 10 seconds. 5: Release the left and right mouse.
NotTheScrollingOne Posted February 2, 2022 Posted February 2, 2022 I am having the same problem, I tried the suggested solution, but it didn't help. The latest Update (4.20.169) also didnt help. It is very annoying. Thanks for your help in advance.

I am having issues with erratic wheel scrolling and I cleaned out my mouse wheel. I tried this solve and it did not work for me. It's like the scroll wheel has a mind of it's own and is fighting me assuming it responds at all. This is my favourite mouse and I NEED a working wheel so this is fairly distressing.
Malvok Posted March 16, 2023 Posted March 16, 2023 This happens to me as well. It drives me up a wall. I had thought it a quirk of my system but I see now that it isn't happening to just me.
Leviathan1usa Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 This has also been happening to me and is the second scimitar mouse that has done this. Is there a resolve for this?
