Zeus502
I purchased the CORSAIR ValueSelect 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Unbuffered DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit from Newegg.com in September of last year. The RAM was working fine up until last week. One morning I booted up the computer and when Windows started loading I got a blue screen and a message that some of the Windows files were corrupted. I assumed that there was a problem with the hard drive so I swapped it with another one and I still got the same message. I played around with some of the other components and settings, but still no luck. Finally, I removed one the the memory sticks and the system booted properly. The kit that I purchased came with two memory sticks and one is still working just fine. Whenever I add in the bad stick or swap it with the working one then the system fails to boot. As soon as something starts to get loaded into memory on that one stick then the whole system crashes. I was not able to find a solution to this problem on the forums. Could you please tell me how to fix this problem or give me an RMA # so that I can exchange the bad stick? Thanks.
