Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 24, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 24, 2005 Please make sure that you have the latest bios and then set the Dim Voltage to 2.7 Volts and test the modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org. if you do find one failing then lets get it or them replaced. Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However; if you get errors with both modules, that would suggest some other problem. And I would try testing the memory in another system to be sure.
ierun
Hi! thank you for answering fast. I am pretty sure that the ram I have is problem because I have only one ram stick. I tried testing other parts replaced but nothing worked. Finally, I tried the other company's ram purchased to test from BESTBUY worked fine without putting the ram(Corsair one) then I could start the computer fine. However, if I put the this corsair ram alone, as soon as the computer is on, it does not process and turned off, or make noisy beeping sound. I cannot even get to the bios. so...can I return it and get it replaced? Please give me a replay as soon as possible.. Thank you~!
