Which version I need to install to have the default firmware of KATAR PRO

Recommended Posts

Hi Corsair team,

I buy a corsair mice last week and I wrongly updated the last firmware :( Now I have issues with the double click.

My question is:

Which version of iCUE I need to install to downgrade the version of the firmware of the mice KATAR PRO and have the default one?

Is there a factory reset?

Mouse reset -- not sure if that is going to help.  You also might try a force update of the current firmware (check for update -> none -> force update).  If neither of those help, you will want to contact Corsair support or look at local exchange options.  Trying to go backwards to update an earlier firmware is not likely a solution and will require both support and some jumping through hoops.

I have not seen any other complaints about the Katar recently.  Usually if there is a firmware or software problem the user complaints pile up quickly.  So I am not sure if that is a hardware issue on that specific mouse or if something else is going on.

these steps solved the issue thank you

  1. Unplug the mouse.
  2. With the mouse unplugged, hold down the left and right mouse buttons.
  3. While holding down the mouse buttons, plug the mouse back into the computer.
  4. Wait for the mouse’s LEDs to begin flashing, then release the buttons.
  5. Unplug the mouse.
  6. Plug the mouse back into the computer.
