H115i Pro RGB - Pump clicking noises

Recommended Posts

My H115i have this clicking/rattling noise on both balanced and extreme mode. You can hear it from about 3m away and it's very noticable and I can only run it in quiet mode to get rid of it, As others have pointed out on reddit it may be air bubbles and to move the case around to get them loose, no luck. Have also tested to run it for a day on extreme and sound is exactly the same. I've composed a video of it and wondering if this is unusual amount of noise.

Thing is this pump is a year old at this point and it has been like that from the start, I thought it was normal at first but after researching almost a year later due to the sound level increasing even more I found out that the pump is not supposed to emit this noise. And with the pump getting louder I'm afraid it will soon break or the sound even happening on lower RPM like quiet mode.

Exact same noise as in this thread:

Video of mine:

Can't really see due to bad lighting but from the start it's on quiet, then I move on to balanced and in the end it's extreme mode which you can litterally hear over 5m away in a closed case.

Any help on this is appreciated.

Not air bubbles.  I can hear the harmonics kick in about half way through.  That is mechanical.  Contact Corsair Support through the main website.  No reason to put up with that.

The Pro series was a really good model with very few issues, but that one is definitely out of balance.

Well, filled a RMA ticket, time to wait for support and hope they aswell deem it to be out of spec.
