c-attack
1) Be careful with other RGB programs. Cue will quit or relinquish control during update so it can load the firmware. You don’t want the other program to take a moment of opportunity and try and take control. This is more of a problem with motherboard connected item like RAM vs something like fans that have their own independent controller. Best practice is to quit the motherboard RGB software prior to the update. 2) Don’t use a passthrough port, like on the keyboard. Mice, headsets, and other peripherals can be connected directly to the mb or chassis USB ports for the update. Some devices are more sensitive about this than others. 3) Don’t pull the plug during the firmware install. That one probably does not need further elaboration.
