iCue Command Pro Xt - Randomly disconnecting

Just purchased the Command Pro Xt and am having stability issues. Drivers/firmware are all latest. Windows 10 21H2

The Command Pro Xt will randomly disconnect and stop managing the fans/LED. Restarting iCue does not help. After Windows restart, Xt will run for a while, then disconnect again.

Device Mgr and windows power settings are such that windows is not shutting down usb.

Any suggestions please. thanks

Motherboard series?  On the surface this sounds like every other AMD x570, B550 motherboard with the voltage output issues.

Asus Z490-f / 10900k

I did find that keeping iCue in the foreground will prevent the Xt from disconnecting. Not ideal, but it's something.

OK, not common on Intel but it does happen every now and then.  I would try to reinstall the chipset drivers to rule that out and prevent someone from asking later.  Then start a support ticket with Corsair.  If the chipset force update does not solve it, then it is likely going to be hardware.  It may be something as simple as a defect in the USB cable from the Commander Core, but unfortunately that is a fixed piece so it requires Com Core replacement.  You also can turn on 'debug logging' in the CUE settings.  That will allow you to export the error logs when its popping in and out and send them on.
