Chewie05
I've been using this mem module for 2 years with no problems. Recently I've been getting random lockups. Today the PC will not bootup (continually reboots). I've run Memtest (v3.2) and received an onslaught of errors. Here is my system information: DFI Lanparty Ultra NFII B Athlon XP 2600 Corsair Platinum XMS PC3500 (CMX512-3500C2PT) v1.1 (1x512mb) Maxtor SATA 120gb I've tried putting the module in slot 2 and 3 and still get identical errors. Please let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanks! - Marc
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 23, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 23, 2005 Please test the modules in another system if you can with http://www.memtest.org and I would set the Dim Voltage to 2.7 Volts as well. If you do find it's failing then lets get it or them replaced. Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! I've tried your suggestion and no go. I've been getting help from someone in your RMA dept who has been EXTREMELY helpful and a pleasure to work with. I'm going to send in the module for a replacement. Thank you for your GREAT support and service. Is there a supervisor I can send en email to so that I may compliment your colleague?
