Question about sudden windows device install.

So I was on my PC when a windows popup message saying that it was installing a device called "CORSAIR lighting node CORE bootloader" and now I can see it on the devices:

I would like to validate that this is indeed a Corsair software because the sudden install took my by surprise and I can't find an exact match result on Google. I do have Corsair components on my build but I've been using my PC for more than 6 months. I think it's worth mentioning that some sort of power flicker seemed to occur earlier that breifly flashed out my monitor and internet connection but it didn't shut down the computer although I can't say if these events are related.
