Question about the commander that comes with the H100i Elite LCD AIO

Recommended Posts

I was installing it and I noticed quite a bit of resistance on the PWM headers, as I plugged in the PWM I noticed the little tabs got pushed back. The fans all work and are being detected, but I don't want this to be an issue when I have to reconfigure the wiring should I make any changes or upgrades to my build. Anyone else run into this? I was kind of disappointed by the quality of this version of the commander, I replaced my Commander Pro which IMO had much nicer ports for PWM.

Thanks!

Hey AniHajderaj, sorry this is happening to you. You shouldn't be experiencing a strenuous resistance as long as the PWM header's pins are properly aligned with the fan's connector. Please contact support if you are still experiencing any issues.

makes sense, if i ever needed to do an RMA would I be able to just get the RMA done on the commander alone, or would the entire kit have to be addressed?

If support determines an issue is isolated to strictly the commander core, just the commander core alone would be replaced. Unfortunately, I am in TM and not TS (Tech Support) so it can really depend on what they might feel you might need to do. No worries though as they will definitely give you more specific information. Let me know if you experience any more issues.
