K55 RGB and iCue problems

I've been trying to get iCUE to work with my K55 RGB but having some issues.

When I launch the software, it shows my keyboard, with a note about a new firmware update.

Then, it disconnects the keyboard and reconnects it several times.

When it finally settles down, and shows the keyboard as properly connected, the firmware update box has vanished and the only option is settings, which doesn't seem to have any effect.

Any ideas?

Hey Grunth0s, sorry you're having trouble. Besides possibly clean reinstalling iCUE or repairing iCUE - what iCUE version firmware are you running?

This was with a clean install of iCUE

However, after trying it again this morning, it failed once more. I then closed and re-opened iCUE, and it let me update the firmware to 30.09

Hoping that this has fixed the issue (as it has now let me set a solid colour for the keyboard)

 push the button on icon light on the top of keyboard, and try again. i have the same problem, when pushing the ligth button and reconnect the keyboard and reopened the app icue version 428.174 its work's.

 

i have the keyboard k55 rgb.
