LGA1700 Retrofit Kit compatibility

Hi. I was wondering if someone will be able to point me towards information or educate me about LGA1700 Retrofit Kit (SKU CW-8960091) compatibility. The listing says "Please reference the tech specs below for compatibility information." But I was not able to find this information. It also says that it is for "LGA1200/LGA115x Retention brackets and backplates for modern CORSAIR AIO coolers".

I own the H115i PRO RGB Hydro Series AIO - which is LGA115x compatible - and still have all the brackets it came with. Would I be able to mount it on a LGA1700 socket with the retrofit kit?

Hi @tchubaba,

the retrofit kit is compatible with the coolers mentioned in this article:

https://help.corsair.com/hc/en-us/articles/4411406331277-How-to-Use-your-old-retention-bracket-to-mount-an-Elite-Capellix-cooler-to-an-LGA-1700-socket

Unfortunately it's not supported by your H115i PRO.

Best regards,

LandLubber

I just upgraded my AMD 5900X to the i9-13900K and needed the retrofit kit as well. I contacted Corsair last week and provided proof of purchase and they are sending me the kit & bracket for free (Thank You Corsair). The downside it's coming from China, so it's gonna be a few weeks. In the mean time I was able to get the 1700 standoffs from my local micro center and they just arrived today. I already had the bracket that came with the AIO and picked up a set of thumb screws online. So I'll be installing my new CPU tomorrow and will keep the kit from Corsair whenever it get here.  So if anyone needs a 1700 kit contact Corsair to help you out.
